Sinead finally shares her music with the world.

With an array of beautiful R&B and Neo Soul tracks released for our audio enjoyment, Sinead Harnett unveils her sophomore album titled, ‘Ready Is Always Too Late’.

As someone who still revisits past Sinead tracks like ‘If You Let Me’, I was personally invested on how this album was going to be perceived. I love her voice and was ready for the release of this album.

Prior to pressing play, I do a quick scroll of the features. Seeing names like VanJess (a duo I absolutely love), Masego and Lucky Daye lets me know Sinead has bangers ready. But upon my first play through, it’s the tracks where Sinead is alone is where I feel she shines the most. Painting images of Romance, empowerment and herself to us, the fans.

With each song having its own identity, Sinead has done a great job of bringing an overall cohesiveness to the project.

Sinead starts the album off with the album’s namesake, ‘Ready Is Always Too Late’. This has become my favourite track on the album with Sinead displaying attractive vocals over a melodically beautiful instrumental.

Take Me Away’ sees Sinead profess her affection for a loved one. Proclaiming she wants to be taken away, this is a delightful track features Earthgang.

Reliving the thoughts of her last love and how these thoughts get in the way, Sinead speaks on her love life on ‘Last Love’. We previously championed this track, go check it out.

The one drawback that we have heard would be that the album comes across as tad bit short. For me personally I understand the demand for more songs, but can we just appreciate and celebrate the project in its entirety.

Each song paints a picture so let’s listen to Sinead’s story rather than demand for more music before we have even digested what we have.

With a Debut album (Lessons in Love) as sweet as hers, Sinead had the hard task of staying consistent and giving fans more great music. We believe she has delivered on this task with Sinead showing us what we already knew; Sinead Harnett is solidified in the R&B landscape.
