With you guys checking out our previous indexes on artists we feel you need to know in 2022, you should already have a feel for how this works. We bring acts to your attention we deem necessary for you guys to know. These artists showed up on our radar with their music, so we’re making it our business to showcase them to you guys.
This creative dropped an album and an EP in 2021. Both were excellent and served as a reminder to followers of how talented he is. 2022 should see Layback Thought follow up his successful 2021 with more music and hopefully a show.
Brought to our attention midway through 2021, Bklava has a few UKG gems in her catalogue. Her remixes are also class, we’re hoping she continues this trend in 2022 and also does a few live shows
Last year was our first introduction to Squintz music, his Grime project ‘Nuen Ain’t Gang’ is a solid piece of work. Tracks like, ‘Dem Man’ and ‘No’ are strong, we’re hoping 2022 sees Squintz either drop another project or jump on the stage.
Our introduction to Duppy was his single, ‘The Endz’, the timeline showed us this track and we had to check it out. Everything we have heard since then has been sick. We were unwell during his show in Peckham but hopefully, 2022 sees him do his own show so we can see him live.
Sammy Virji dropped some banging UKG inspired tracks in 2021. ‘Alright’ was received very well by our readers and we’re hoping he continues to drop top-notch tracks in 2022.
Her project, ‘Mother’, was one of the best things we heard in 2021. Cleo Sol has one of the finest voices in music and we’re legit hoping to see her live in 2022
For the last couple of years, every track we have heard from BenjiFlow has a great sound to it. He is able to captivate listeners with his smooth voice and his incoming EP titled, ‘Thrill’ is going to act as evidence that you really should be tuned in to the singer.
Came to our attention with her release, ‘No Chaser’, for us ShaSimone is one of the hottest talents out there. With a distinctive voice and unique flow, ShaSimone will undoubtedly be raising levels this year. Hopefully, we get an EP or live performance from her to showcase more of her talents.
