We’re really feeling your recent release, ‘Cant Let Go’. What was the inspiration behind this track?

The inspiration behind “Cant Let Go” was me dwelling on how my current relationship is compared to my recent relationship – I see traits in my new relationship, hold n I see bad traits that my past relationship that reminds me of the present.

How was it working with Derek King?

Man. Derek King? A real artist giving me a shot with him on this record means a lot. He definitely has my respect for ever. A real genuine artist.

Looking through your catalogue, we came across, ‘Plain Jane’. This track sounds really good, how did this track come about?

Plain Jane” came about when the pandemic hit. Me and my brothers were in the studio and I wanted to make a song because I had been out of it for a while and at the time I had a Rolex. For “Plain Jane” my cousin Dontae found the beat, I bought it then boom! Me and Symsdaily made “Plain Jane” and it’s turned out to be a big track.

What 3 artists are you feeling at the moment?

A boogie, Tory Lanez , and Money Man.

What’s your favourite YouTube channel and why?

My favourites are Toosii and Rod Wave.Channels they showing me them grinding. Making a name for they self and helping their families I can watch all day, everyday. It’s motivating.

What’s next for Wavez?

My next step is to sign a good deal in order to build a bigger platform and take off to the moon. I’m in the process of following up with a new single called “Redbone” alongside my brother Ak The Goat. It’s something really special. Plus a Derek King video – that’s gonna break barriers for me.
