Nottingham rap duo Young T & Bugsey drop their most anticipated single of the year, “Dundee.”

Young T handles production again, skillfully sampling Chaka Khan’s iconic “Ain’t Nobody” and featuring an opening intro from a recording of the late Crocodile Hunter. The playful bounce perfectly mirrors the duo’s infectious personalities, a vibe vividly brought to life in the accompanying vintage aesthetic-themed music video. Scenes of the pair relaxing and enjoying life in the backyard highlight their distinctive mix of styles, both musically and visually. Their vibrant energy and unique fusion shine through in every song they undertake. Having dropped two songs this year “Been A Minute” & “Rio Grande”, Young T & Bugsey are keeping themselves very busy and were spotted performing with Shenseea at City Splash in London last month. Together, they delivered a captivating rendition of her cover of their hit song “Don’t Rush.”

Young T & Bugsey stand as Mobo award-winning and Brit-nominated artists, boasting an expansive discography brimming with chart-topping hits, including acclaimed tracks such as “4×4,” “Gangland,” “Ay Caramba,” “Strike a Pose,” and the iconic “Don’t Rush.” What many don’t know is that T is the mastermind behind “Ay Caramba”, “Strike Me A Pose”, “Gangland”, and “Big Business”.

Renowned for their collaborative spirit, they’ve joined forces with esteemed artists such as Headie One, Aitch, BLXST, and Fredo, yielding a string of platinum-certified and top-10 singles that solidify their status as trailblazers in the UK music scene. In the most recent chapter of their lives, Bugsey’s long-awaited attainment of UK citizenship coincides with the arrival of his son, marking profound milestones in his life. Meanwhile, Young T, a proud father to his 6-year-old girl and the creative force behind much of their production, remains steadfast in crafting exceptional beats, driven by a passion to showcase their abilities to the world.

As they gear up for new music this year, the duo have been seen FROW at London Fashion Week for designers such as Labrum, Ahluwalia and Robyn Lynch.   Having crossed paths at age 15, Young T & Bugsey embarked on a remarkable professional and personal journey, finding solace and support in each other’s company through every twist and turn. The duo holds deep gratitude towards their community, particularly the youth clubs in Nottingham, which played a pivotal role in shaping their journey. In a heartfelt gesture, at the onset of the last school year in September 2023, they organised a ‘Back To School’ event in their local community, helping children by providing essential school supplies.

Continuing their journey with gratitude, Young T & Bugsey aspire to extend their impact beyond music, spreading positivity and success to inspire others. In 2024, they aim to redefine the role of artists, offering a fresh perspective on creativity and success in the modern world. This year, Young T & Bugsey returned following a brief hiatus warming fans up with “Been A Minute” & “Rio Grande” and now “Dundee” cements the dawn of “the next phase”. This year alone they have already garnered support from BBC 1xtra’s Eddie Kadi, Capital Xtra’s DJ Semtex & Manny Norte as well as Apple Musics Charlie Sloth
