Waterworks Festival 2022 Review

Despite all the controversy of hosting a festival event with the backdrop of a monarch’s funeral. And the subsequent murmurers from the local residents.

Best Festivals 2022

Waterworks Festival 2022, delivered in spectacular style. With a diverse, eclectic mix of electronic music, a wash with colour, free spirits and good vibes

The site consisted of six main areas, all with their unique ambience and energy.

Cedar rugged, industrial & futuristic
Hi Hat – Intimate, tent,
Pressure – Step beyond stripped-back modernism
Siren – Woodland adventure
Orbit – Fun-loving, dynamic expressionism
Water Tower – multi-dimensional festival mecca

Milo set at the RA stage was a real highlight. Combining an eclectic mix of Dubstep, vocal bassline & grime had the festival punters running to the Siren stage with its woodland whimsical vibe.

Shani’s performance at the pressure stage brought that serious energy synonymous with her DJ style. Dropping a hard-hitting baseline heavy set. Which had the Pressure stage jumping for the duration of her performance.

The best stage had to be Resident Advisor’s Siren stage. They combined the whimsical woodland stage with a diverse DJ lineup that ultimately stole the show.

The atmosphere is one of those subjective questions we all want to know the answer to. But given this was our first time at Waterworks Festival we were genuinely blown away but the passionate, free-spirited, fun-loving vibe it delivered.

In summary, Waterworks Festival is a definite for your 2023 festival calendar. If an eccentric, free-spirited vibe is what you need in your life next summer.
