South-East London emcee VGO emerges with the stylish visualiser for his latest release “The Way She Moves”.

A sleek ode to newfound love, VGO’s latest fusion-riddim “The Way She Moves” explores the realms of psychedelia, shifting from hushed tones to clarity and assuredness delving into an exciting new love affair. Spacey, atmospheric melodies and sharp percussive textures along a subtle Afroswing line set pace for VGO’s confident, frank penmanship. Gliding seamlessly in a playful, intoxicating mix of UK rap and R&B “The Way She Moves” underlines the young artist as a significant new name in the landscape.

Accompanied by a polished video that perfectly personifies the mellow sonics, VGO envisions his ideal partner with soft colour tones of pink and nude that contrast the smooth transitions and sharp visual effects. The London rapper expressed: “Is it the way she moves, her look, her vibes. The hair, the eyes, she’s just my type. The way she talk, or maybe it’s the figure. She a little freak too, baby ain’t vanilla”.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2020 with his trap-soaked smash hit “Suttin Special” – amassing well over 400K streams on Spotify alone – VGO’s smart wordplay and instinct for potent instrumentals have been steadily making a mark across the landscape. Following a stream of ignited trap records including “Roddy Richh” and “Dave Chappelle”, the emcee found himself remoulding his artistry and melodic makeup, his most recent track “Winter” evolving into VGO’s take on stylish drill, which gained over 118K streams across Spotify in the process.

From hip-hop and grime, to drill and everything in between, VGO’s style is a polished collection of his unapologetic flair and musical finesse – and with his debut project Vagabond approaching, mark the multi-hyphenate talent as a significant new name on the rise.
