A few months ago we came across Grime artist, Tophe.
Tophe had dropped single last summer titled, ‘Haps’. I enjoyed the track and believed it should do the rounds during the summer period.
Checking him out further showed that he had a pretty decent catalogue. Tracks like ‘Back 2 Raving’ and ‘9T5’ were tracks that brought something different.
Then came the release with Tintz which was called, ‘Cross The Ts’. Done along with Grindhouse, this was another tack I championed as I believed it had a good sound to it.
Because Tophe also dabbles in Dubstep too, he has got some tracks in his arsenal that displays both this genre and Grime. These tracks make for a good listen, we recommend you giving his music a play.
Now we have gotten to word that Tophe has returned to end the year on a high.
He teams up again with OwlyBeats to drop single, ‘Brace For Bass’.
‘Brace For Bass’ is a combination of Dubstep and Grime music. The strong bass accompanied by Tophes flow is a good match up.
The Dubstep elements come from the beat, whereas the Grime attributes derive from Tophe and his delivery.
This isn’t the first time the guys are worked together and it shows as this beat seems like a perfect match for Tophe and his flow.
If you’re a lover of Grime or if heavy Bass is what gets you going in the club, then you have to press play on ‘Brace For Bass’.
