Although commonly associated with the summer months, festivals are a yearlong thing with most of the winter events occurring outside of the UK.
Countries around the world have no month barrier; they find the best out of any weather condition and use that to their advantage.
Getting out of the house is a great way to beat the winter blues, so why not do some travelling and experience music in another country?
Australia

Garnering a reputation for displaying dance and electronic music, Sugar Mountain returns in two weeks’ time.
Based in Australia, this event has done a great job of supporting not just the established acts in the dance sector. But those up and coming acts that are on the rise, with a determination to get you to the dance floor.
This year’s event will see Sugar Mountain collaborate alongside Boiler Room. With this news being broadcasted to outlets, it’s a given that a showcase of rising talent will be on display.
The DJs being announced may be unknown to some of you, but trust us, they know how to fill out a stage.
Costa Rica

BPM is an event that originates from Mexico and now resides in Portugal. However the organisers have taken pride in delivering this event around the world in many spectacular locations.
At the end of this month the festival will be adding to the array of breath taking locations boasted in their catalogue. This is because BPM will be hosted in Costa Rica!
With some of the most beautiful sceneries in the world, this stunning island will be the home of the BPM festival.
Being able to explore such a great island and then soak in some class house music will be an experience for those in attendance.
