DJ Spoony is a legendary DJ, who should be celebrated for his contribution to music. He has been instrumental in bringing the Garage sound to our ears over the years. From radio stations such as KISS and Radio 1 to nationwide festivals, DJ Spoony has succeeded in delivering that sweet Garage sound to listeners across the globe.
His recent venture (DJ Spoony Presents Garage Classical) has been an event we have wanted to attend. This past Friday we got the opportunity to check out The Garage Classical, witnessing an absolutely great show.
The Garage Classical is presented by DJ Spoony and the Ignition Orchestra, along with some very special guests. The aim of this event is to celebrate UK Garage by having Garage acts come and perform alongside the Ignition Orchestra.
If like us UK Garage holds a special place in your heart, we suggest you take a trip to Garage Classical. Seeing artists come and perform classic bangers had us going crazy in the crowd. Artists like Heartless Crew and Kele Le Roc stole the show while tracks such as Sincere, Body Groove, Battle, My Love, Heartless Theme and Please Don’t Turn Me One rang loudly throughout the building.
It truly was a night where UK Garage was appreciated and given it’s flowers.
If you have remained faithful UK Garage over the years, we strongly recommend you attend the next show. To witness classic songs we grew up with being performed by an Orchestra was well and truly a great experience.
