Senufo, also known as the acid cowboy, has released his first solo expedition… Fight Like a Robot. Known for collaborations with fellow underground house DJ, LOSH, Senufo has delivered a groovy late-night roller inspired by an immersive experience with a robot apocalypse.
Senufo is acid obsessed the New York DJ known for co-creating Cuckoo and In The Cut. After seeing early support from the likes of Hardwell, Gene Farris, Shiba San, Don Diablo and Sonny Fodera, Senufo was inspired to embark upon his first solo effort. Building a reputation for his psychedelic approach, Senufo is an artist that’s fuelled by complex textures and rhythmic adventures that ensure hypnotic experiences and a breadth of futuristic sounds.
Utterly and unashamedly free with his sound, Senufo enjoys straddling electronic realms of techno, bass and tech house. With equal measure of control and confusion, new single Fight Like a Robot reveals Senufo’s inner dialogue – centred around the art of war. Ultimately concluding that ‘the best victory is that where there is no battle’, Senufo has thrown himself into the subject with connecting visual studies broadcast in short bursts on his new Instagram account.
Whilst Senufo cultivates his sound, he loses himself in a virtual maze of sound design and rolling bass lines. Bursting with unexpected and confused rhythm, Senufo’s fresh club heater provides us with a great example of more musical explorations we can expect to see from this artist.
