Blending a rugged look with a beautiful voice, Toronto-based R&B artist RUSSELL! aims to navigate a space of rare vulnerability in today’s era of unabashed toxicity.

Equipped with a fresh voice from an experienced frame, the Filipino-Canadian crooner creates classic R&B music with modern sounds and textures. As a sincere and confident creative, RUSSELL! Has built a rock solid fanbase, which has recently seen him support Roy Woods on a run of tour dates. A seasoned entertainer who has performed across Canada, USA, and Australia – RUSSELL!’s fans have come to expect a charismatic live show with emotional valleys and peaks, featuring phenomenal vocals throughout performances.

Following the release of “JUST LIKE CANDY” (which gained support from Huey Morgan (BBC 6 Music) and Kaylee Golding (BBC Radio 1Xtra), RUSSELL! Now prepares to release ‘Am I Enough’ the second single from his highly anticipated album ‘Dearly Loved’. This latest track sees RUSSELL!’s pitched down vocals flowing effortlessly atop a UKG inspired track, whilst the lyrics deal with unrequited love and questions of self-worth. On the record, RUSSELL! explains: “This is a special record to me. I wrote it during a very dark period of my life where I felt a lot of frustration with who I was as a person, and as somebody in the entertainment industry.”

The album continues the chronicles of RUSSELL!’s alter-ego Mr. Sweethartt. Mr. Sweethartt, serves as both muse and mirror, reflecting RUSSELL!’s emotional and vocal range. In a world of toxic masculinity, Mr. Sweethartt is the antithesis. During his break from releasing music, RUSSELL! had the opportunity to further emotionally mature, evolving into a fully balanced man – who is fully in touch with both his masculine and feminine energies.
