With only a few months left of the year – Patterns dance floor is the best place to be.
Sitting on Brighton’s famous Marine Parade, Patterns is an iconic seafront institute that brings in a solid program of DJs, live acts, bands, crews, and collectives week in week out. As the sun simmers down for 2023, Patterns announce a buffet of artists to help keep everyone warm for Autumn/Winter. Artists for A/W 2023 include Nooriya, Sean Johnston, Bakey b2b FelixCW, Riordan, Katy B (DJ Set), Sigma, Demi Riquisimo, Page Tomlinson, DJ Seinfeld, t e s t p r e s s, Kai Campos, TSHA, Eats Everything and more will play, plus there’s residents, regulars, promoters.

Keeping up the momentum from Summer, Patterns has cooked up a fiery lineup for every dancer. Starting the season strong, radios Platform B & The New Society are joining forces presenting world renowned DJ, producer straight from her incredible Boiler Room – Nooriyah for a night of sounds from across the globe. For individuals found front left, a screw face and who have a taste for sonics of bass, grime, jungle, garage, rap, DnB, afrobeats, and global sounds look no further than Foundations – stripped back parties dedicated to delivering bone rattling music. Kicking things off on the 13th of October Foundations will be teaming up with OPTION for a night of heavyweight breaks, bass and more. Bakey b2b FelixCW will be soundtracking the night set to light the dancefloor like dynamite. Riordan is also joining the billing in October for a night of thumping house music with support from Sam Girling. Selectors Izco & Reek0 will also be gracing the October listings with household name Katy B bringing some grime and garage flavours. Sigma are also appearing at the end of the October as apart of their special up close and personal tour. To round off the month for the spookiest time of the year Patterns presents Halloween with Semi Delicious head honcho Demi Riquisimo and Paige Tomlinson alongside Patterns regulars Faro, Daisha and DJ Mimi.
Every weekend, Patterns brings to Brighton leading heads from the electronic music world, this season the basement will see the likes of twinkle, wanderlust house music extraordinaire DJ Seinfeld, techno “bratz” Lucia Lu, and turbo trance/techno gladiators T E S T P R E S S all set to ignite everyone’s weekend dancing plans. Kai Campos aka Mount Kimbie will be presenting an experimental masterclass with support from Patterns resident Charles Green. TSHA, a firm favourite for all house and electronic fans will be entering the basement for a night of euphoria.
As Autumn begins and the leaves fall, the club will be continuing to deliver the heat by hosting 23 degrees, a party catering to all bass, garage and underground sonic cravers. Disco daddy and early 80’s electro pioneer Greg Wilson will also be entering the basement and for the rest of the disco divas Fleetmac Wood are hosting the Wild Heart Disco. Coco Bryce will also be doing what he does best, in delivering bone rattling breaks chopped with contemporary jungle. As the temperature drops, Patterns programming will keep up the momentum with Dub-step envisionary Kai Campos. Lastly but certainly not least for November – Eats Everything will be coming down the seaside ready to get everyone dancing with his finest selection of tech/house.
Tis’ the season to cut shapes down Patterns! Concluding the final (and festive) chapter of the year Patterns programming has snowballed into a month of finely curated acts. Starting the month dubplate aficionados Y U QT will be taking charge, followed by genre pioneer and mastermind Skream. Breakbeat boss Kettama is also joining the festivities for December before Denham Audio returns for an destructive set somersaulting across the low end spectrum. Straight in from the big smoke promoters Percolate will be presenting Dan Shake for a night of uplifting beats and grooves. Finishing off the month disco divas, daddies and legends Horse Meat Disco will be hosting a Christmas Party that you will not want to miss alongside residents Wildblood & Queenie.
