Placed on Brighton’s seafront Marine Parade, Patterns is a notorious institute that brings in a solid program of DJs, live acts, bands, crews, and collectives sold out week in and week out.

Upping in the ante for their second season of 2024, as the weather heats up so does the talent gracing Patterns holy basement! Artists for S/S 2024 include Sharda, salute, Izco, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Neffa-T, A Little Sound, Disrupta, Sam Gellairty, Nookie x Ruth Royall, and more, plus their dedicated residents, regulars, promoters.

Starting the season strong, for individuals found front left, a screw face and who have an appetite for sonics of bass, grime, jungle, garage, rap, DnB, afrobeats, and global sounds look no further than Foundations – no thrills raving dedicated to delivering bone-rattling music. Friday 5th April Sharda is in the building shelling some of the chunkiest UKG, house and bass fuelled with euphoric vocals. Later in the month on the 12th April, Keep Hush mainstay and fan favourite Izco will be mashing up the basement. The Hackney export experiments with forthcoming grime, jungle and garage making him a perfect feature for Foundations at Patterns. A technical wizard known for his 6 deck mixes and expertise, grime and UK Techno don Neffa-T will be turning up on the 19th of April. Later down the line Foundations are teaming up with the infamous event series and roster 23 Degrees for a night of wobblers with headliner Sicaria. Cementing herself as a forward thinker within the dubstep world, she will be complimented and supported by Hendy a meteorite within the underground bass world. ‘Bass Bins’ mastermind Efan is also set to be heading Foundations later in the month alongside speed garage and club edit craftsmen Casnova on the 21st of June.

Being a staple at the heart of Brighton’s nightlife, Patterns is dedicated to producing some of the finest nights for dancing to fuel your weekend. Saturday 6th of April they welcome salute, making music since they were 13 years old, they have now contributed to the likes of Charli XCX as well as their own emotive works. Saturday 13th of April sees the enigma that is Totally Enormous Dinosaurs take over the basement for his bright and charismatic floor fillers. Supercharged are back on the 20th of April with another full-throttle pushing the new sounds of Drum and Bass featuring DJ/vocalist A Little Sound and Disrupta. Friday the 26th of April welcomes Scottish producer, singer and songwriter DJ Sam Gellaitry bringing his cutting-edge take on popdance crossover to the seaside. The essence of Chi x THTC presents South Cost Sessions on Friday the 3rd of May uniting stalwarts from the dance music scene such as Nookie, leading light of the drum and bass scene as well as Neighborhood head honcho Tasha. Saturday 5th May welcomes hard house and techno party Aeon with queer powerhouse headliner Michelle Manetti. Legends of the Bass and Breaks world Bakey and the infamous MC Sgt Pokes will be delivering a 3-hour set of high-intensity sonics.

Friday 17th of May for those attending the marvel that is Great Escape look no further for after antics with The Late Escape on the 17th and 18th of May for some of the best electronic music on offer from the likes of multi-instrumentalist  Jasper Tygner and Meteorite in the house music scene Ella Knight. Bassline baddie Miley Serious performs with Girls Dont Sync member Sophia Violet. Saturday the 25th of May Berghain is regular and voted by the Resident Advisor as number 8 on the top 100 DJ list, Mano Le Tough arrives at Patterns. For all the disco divas, dig out your flares as Grant Nelson heads the Vivid People Disco takeover on the 1st of June. 4×4 garage trailblazer Yung Singh brings his unique groovy cuts for Run The Track on the 15th of June.

There really is something for everyone here for 2024 and no matter what your jam is, Patterns dancefloor is the place to be.
