With 2023 now in full swing, it seems like the question on everyone’s lips is, “where do we go for a good night out?”
2022 and all its misery is well and truly behind us. Although we’re finally over the worst of Covid, most club owners witnessed their businesses having to close for a sustained period of time.
This was to ensure that once the dark days passed, they would be able to once again thrive in the night lift sector.
With us entering 2023 and the dark clouds seemingly becoming a tad bit transparent, businesses are beginning to reintroduce themselves to us, the night club attendees.
For the average club goer, it was indeed possible to go to a club in 2022. But was it your favourite club? Did the tunes bang? Did the atmosphere draw you in? Were there untold restrictions to you even being in the venue? Exactly!
You may have gone clubbing last year, but let’s face it, it wasn’t how you remembered it. Depending on the regulations that were put in place, your experience was probably marred ever so slightly.
But now it’s time to forget those tepid night club experiences and look forward to a new year, that will see the night life in the UK get back to what it once was.
So where do you begin? Not only are peoples preferred night clubs reopening, but it seems there has been a surge in new clubs introducing themselves to the public.
So how will you know what bangs and what doesn’t?
Well we have done our research and identified some nightclubs that will ensure you have an experience that will never leave you.
Let’s start off with a club we know well, as our very own Ashley will be making an appearance on the decks throughout 2023.
Located in the heart of Shoreditch, Queen of Hoxton is a double act as yes it is a night club, however it also has a rooftop bar at the top.
There is never a dull moment in the night club as the DJ’s on rotation do a good job of playing a variation of music.
As for the rooftop bar, this is perfect for those late evening in the summer. The sun setting as you vibe out to some tunes, great way to end the day.
Another one with a quirky roof top bar, Prince of Wales has the titled of being one of South London’s largest venues.
The venue has a bit of a vintage look to it but don’t let that fool you as the DJ’s play nothing but bangers here.
Prince of Wales also puts on live music shows and comedy events during the week. There is something for everyone at POW.
One of the best to ever do it, Ministry of Sound is the daddy of night clubs. DJ’s have been bringing our favourite tracks to life in this establishment for over thirty years.
Some of the biggest names to every grace the decks have come here and spun!
Boasting many rooms, each with their own identity, Ministry of Sound is a venue you must get to in 2023
KOKO is back and has every intention of showing you guys how to have a good night out.
The Camden venue contains a plethora of bars and balconies that look on to the dance floor.
The DJ’s that come here know how to make you get on your feet. Don’t believe us; check out our article from just last week of us telling you the legendary Kerri Chandler will have a residency here in February!
If you’re on the hunt for underground hits, a cheeky set from a living legend or just want to get your legs moving on the dance floor. You need to get your ass to Fabric in 2023.
Famous for having legends grace their venue, Fabric is known to bring the vibe. All music genres are covered from Electronic and Bass to Grime, all attendees will get a chance to dance to their preferred music.
Another one members of the team worked, XOYO is known for DJ’s playing the sickest House tracks known to man.
The two room night club specialises in House and Dance music, however occasionally has residencies there that can turn that whole place upside down.
Check us out there for the Mike Skinner residency!
An absolute beast of a venue, Egg has an impressive five rooms as well as an outdoor facility for those who wish to see the night draw in (or the morning rise).
With this venue being so spacious, it is very easy to lose yourself in the music and be dancing away for hours on end.
Egg is a raver’s paradise!
Known for their festival after parties as well as their live shows and club nights, Oval space could be seen as a bench mark for straight up raving.
There are no balconies or multiple bars, Oval Space is a massive venue with an immense dance floor and DJ’s spinning the craziest tracks all night.
The objective is very clear when you come to Oval Space… rave!
If your desire is to show your dance moves over a massive disco ball, Trapeze is the place for you.
Based in Shoreditch this venue is very different to others, trapeze bars hang from the ceiling and entertainment is in the form of people in fancy dressed.
Live performances here are to be admired and the venue has been known to have some of the best drink combinations in the area!
If you’re the one who doesn’t know when to leave the rave, the Studio 338 is for you. This is because Studio 338 doesn’t know when to stop partying.
With most of their events lasting until sunrise, Studio 338 always has a top tier DJ on the decks.
With the club itself being massive and the roof top never closing, Studio 338 has found itself being one of the go to venues for 2023
