What Alix Perez does so beautiful with this EP construct
a musical flow, where the instruments and the use of the arrangement captures distinctive soul, sharp breaks and atmospheric chords.
Stand out tracks, Distant Figures – Workforce and final track Lost & Found marry together something deep in its makeup together with vocals that allow both tracks to transcend their D’n’B construction. The lyrics from Liam Bailey especially for ‘Lost & Found’ provide a true deepness that has to be appreciated on a profound level.
Released on 1985 Music, definitely an EP for the deep musical purist among us.
