Returning for their second year, Madruga, an intimate mansion party meets festival set at a 19th-century manor house in Herefordshire is back in 2 months with another 3-day programme of some of the highest in-demand acts in electronic music. The super limited capacity festival, set for the 26th of July through to the 29th, will return to the iconic Baskerville Hall, a sanctuary for UK rave culture spanning over 35 years, birthing the likes of the legendary Fantazia parties of the 90’s.
A short escape from the urban sprawls of London, Manchester & Bristol to the idyllic Herefordshire backdrop, Baskerville provides the perfect space for a 19th Century mansion to turn into a hedonistic cocoon, bringing a weighty plethora of big talent with names such as JOY ORBISON, BLUMITSU, DR BANANA, PAPA NUGS, SHY ONE and many more.

This charming festival focuses on doing things right in a small capacity with forward thinking lineups giving you the opportunity to see the biggest names in their most intimate capacity, the London party scene with your nearest and dearest nestled away mansion in the countryside. Offering indoor and outdoor stages Madruga is set for the British weather building on this idea of raving at its most comfortable.
Each ticket also comes along with hot showers and fully flushing loos, it’s the full festival experience just a bit nicer. Ticket options include standard camping, as well as glamping or punters can choose to stay in the heart of the mansion for the full experience, with rooms ranging from standard to full suites, that truly reverberates the manor’s history and the centuries of parties that have come before.
An escape from the city life with the enchanting grounds and on-site facilities, this mansion party festival is like no other, with additional offerings including a classic onsite British pub serving everyone’s favourite draughts for you to put your feet up, day time explorations, performances, drag, comedy and for those who want to indulge in relaxation, an on-site pool, sauna and outdoor hot tubs will also be available for ravers to escape outside of the music.
Last year saw the likes of Angel d’lite, Amaliah, DMX Krew, D.Tiffany, DJ Perception and Lukas Wiglex come together to shell sonics for a group of like minded individuals coming together for the love of electronic music. Stripping back VIP areas, bougie backstages and exclusive partitions; Madruga is a no frills party about having a proper dance. Each day offers 17 hours of non-stop music across the site. This year the independent music festival is headlined by XL-Recordings and electronic music stalwart Joy Orbison, a titan within the scene constantly changing his sound and evolving. Promising to infuse the July summer warmth with his signature Joy O drum patterns and bassy woofers, his performance at Madruga is set to be a highlight for fans as this will be the only small-capacity festival he plays in summer 2024, offering attendees a unique opportunity to see him in this idyllic and raw setting.
Exploring the darker sides of high-octane electro and techno, Madruga welcomes BLUMITSU to the mansion, one of the most exciting duo’s to emerge on the scene. Seeing two greats Jossy Mitsu known for her deep and intricate dubby sound and speedy sonics with electro and breaks maniac Bluetoof collide for unmatched explosive euphoria like no other, experience ‘DUALITY’ like never before…
A newcomer on the Madruga lineup, well-known EU figure head of the world minimal scene Anthea joins the party for 2024. Best known for her devotion to spinning and digging the most exciting sounds on vinyl on her imprint, Partisan Records. A lot of party-goers that attended Madruga’s inception last year will fail to forget the iconic acid & Chicago house infused closing by none other than NTS radio host & DJ, Shy One. And if you missed the magic that was created in that ESO room last July, Shy One is back for this year’s edition to bring her London style, broken beat, jazzy flavours back to the mansion. Shy One is joined by underground icons A for Alpha, Anna Wall, Darwin, DJ ADHD, The Ghost and many more.
