Seminal club night, record label and one of the cornerstone’s of the UK early House music scene, the influence of Love to be… cannot be understated. Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2024, this much-loved brand have announced a very special one-off show at Eden, Ibiza for the 2024 season.
Headlining the show, David Penn is a renowned Spanish DJ, producer, and remixer. The founder of Urbana Recordings, his collaborations with DJ Chus and his association with Defected Records have been pivotal, earning him accolades such as the Best House Artist of 2019 by Traxsource. Known for his energetic live performances, including live keyboard-playing, Penn’s notable tracks include “Big Love,” “Stand Up,” and “Nobody., while his dynamic sets continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
Support comes from Love to be… residents Doorly and Trimtone alongside Griff and Miss Foster.
The event is the latest in Love to be…’s ongoing anniversary celebrations, the brand that began its epic journey to the forefront of the UK Club scene in 1994, back at the Music Factory in Sheffield. Love to be… went on to be instrumental in establishing the popularity of house music in the UK. Their events were among the first to book now legendary artists from US pioneers Masters at Work, Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles and Roger Sanchez to UK artists Dave Seaman and Pete Tong.
