Rapper Jordy drops his new single, ‘Too Much’, featuring WSTRN’S Louis Rei, and announces his forthcoming 9-track EP, ‘The Love Ting’, dropping 21st July.

The ‘Too Much’ video directed by Shan Phearon (NInes/Potter Payper) puts the video vixens front and centre, with an overriding theme of noughties throughout. Jordy pays homage to some of this era’s most iconic music videos, with subtle references to videos from Kanye West, Q Tip, and Nas. The ‘Too Much’ video sees Jordy and Louis Rei retreat from the limelight, jumping back and forth between Louis’ melodic chorus and the clever wordplay that has become synonymous with Jordy.

Admired for his penship, punchlines and flow, ‘The Love Ting’ sees Jordy adopting a more vulnerable approach to writing centred around the theme of love, and each track explores different aspects of this multifaceted emotion. Long-term collaborators OJ, Daniel Miles, and Midnight Phunk were on production duties, and they delivered an eclectic body of work, blending different genres and sounds, allowing Jordy to express himself freely.
