We’ve all been affected by this global pandemic COVID-19 has changed the world in more ways than one and impacted society as we know it. For those among us who traditionally visit World’s number 1 party island Ibiza or any other the party hot spots across Europe. We ask although these locations are now open is it right to actually attend?
Everyone is now trying to adapt to this new landscape but if you look at the figures coming out of Spain and specific Ibiza the numbers are definitely on the rise. But how do we continue to support the island, events and locations that we love? Without us, the ravers, will it all survive? Pivoting now is key to how some of our biggest global raving institutions carry on.
We can all do our part, Defected, for example, had a virtual festival, with donations going to charity. Cafe Mambo did an online streaming session and that’s just to name a few. Is it the same as being on the island enjoying the sunset, good vibes and great music no. But, is going to these destinations worth the risk and only prolonging the length of time we all have to suffer at the hands of this disease.
There no right or wrong answer but it’s worth asking yourself the question before making your decision.
