Describe your sound using 3 words
Honest, dynamic and ever changing
We checked out your recent release, Love Too Soon. It possesses a nice bounce to it, what was the inspiration behind the track?
Conceptually it’s the classic tale of the right person at the wrong time, sonically it’s really just the type of music I’ve always wanted to make. I feel like these two things went hand in hand and all aligned perfectly.
Looking through your catalogue, we noticed your video for 5ft Freestyle. What was the thought process behind this song?
It was really just getting back to the sport of rap, being competitive amongst your peers & baiting with a healthy ego
We have seen that you recently signed a publishing deal Sony, how did that moment feel?
It’s something I’m super thankful for, it feels like a lot of hard work being recognised by a team that sees the vision and knows there’s still a lot more to be done.
What’s your favourite Youtube channel and why?
I’ll be honest, I just be watching whatever is recommended in my feed lol.
What does your dream collaboration look like?
Anything from a super producer. Dre, Pharrell, Kanye, Timbaland – give me one of those beats & I’m good
What’s next for Tasman Keith?
More singles/videos before my debut album, a lot of shows and really just staying in the practice so it ain’t no stopping.
