How did the formation of Bauarbeiter Der Liebe happen?
We met in different musical formations befort BDL and were ask by legendary “Strand22” Venue to do a performance together. This was a kind of an iniatial life show. From there we started heading out to further live shows and our first EP “Astro Kid“.
We had the opportunity to listen to your new release, “Haunted”. What is the inspiration behind this sultry house gem?
Bringing simplicity in structure and density in microharmonics is a main inspiration, coming from classical recordings like John Adams “Chairman Dance” and minimal Techno.
We see that “Haunted” lands on Phonique’s new label, Zatar Music. How did this come about?
We pitched the track to Steve Bug’s Poker Flat Recordings but since they had transitioned to a harder sound we weren’t a fit. But Steve Bug was so kind to refer us to Phonique who even did a remix and proposed to release it on hisZatar Music.
