Dimensions Festival Announces All Star Boat Party Line Up For Their Final Year At Fort Punta Christo

Today, Croatian mainstay Dimensions Festival announces the return of their iconic boat parties with a forward-thinking lineup to match. Voyages will set sail out onto the Adriatic from Thursday 29th August – Sunday 1st September, led by both long-standing and new Dimensions partners including Tribe Records, The Pickle Factory, Make Me, EXIT Records and Hessle Audio to name a few.

Waving goodbye to Fort Punta Christo, Dimensions will host an array of world-class selectors for the 3 hour parties, including Shanti Celeste, Helena Hauff, DJ Stingray, Craig Richards and many more, setting sail from the harbour for one last jaunt on the Adriatic.

Setting sail on Thursday, Tribe Records call on Peach Discs label head Shanti Celeste, ball of energy Peach and staff/residents selectors and tastemakers Alex T and Mike BC. As the sun starts to set over the Adriatic The Pickle Factory invite Smartbar resident Eris Drew leading London selector Jane Fitz to join them with Hamish & Toby who will be showcasing their inimitable collections. Abandon Silence take to the helm later on in the evening, bringing along festival favourite, raw house and disco selector Dan Shake and Heels & Souls for guaranteed fun and spontaneity. Berlin-based mobile record shop The Ghost will be the last to board with founders up first, alongside German DJ and producer Gene On Earthand Yorkshire born, house devotee Youandewan.

Stamp The Wax leave the dock for the first of the Friday afternoon voyages with legendary selectors Sadar Bahar and DJ Okapi, who will be digging up everything from soul-classics, house anthems and 80’s South African grooves on the water. They are joined by Zakia and resident DJ Harri Pepper, for an exclusive soulful and jazz fuelled b2b. As the sun sets, London party-starters Make Me host techno and electro enthusiast Helena Hauff, alongside Identified Patient and Make Me’s residents. Elsewhere, Butter Side Up invite long-time Berlin staple Binh, highly-rated Italian selector Francesco Del Garda and Butter Side Up DJ’s.

Saturday’s excursions include Meat Free and Love Muscle with an all-family affair as residents from the staple parties join forces with Blasha & Allatt joined by Michael Upson, Lucy Locket, Chekov and Tom Hannah. Meanwhile French editorial Trax have Skee Mask delivering rolling rhythms, joined by London-based Neighbourhood founder Tasha. On a darker tip are seminal label Exit Records who return for the final edition to make waves on Saturday evening. Led by label boss dBridge, he’ll be joined by Skeptical, Breakage, Fixate, Dolenz, SP:MC & GQ.

Brussels institution FUSE celebrate 25 years and invite the innovative and uncompromising DJ Bone along for the celebrations as well as Berghain resident DVS1, guaranteeing the party goes down in the history books.

Wigflex kick off Sunday proceedings and a string of final voyages departing from the harbour with techno expressionist Call Super on hand to take the crowd on a journey. Joining him is London-based selector re:ni and resident Lukas. Elsewhere, long-standing Dimensions partner Music Is My Sanctuary will be hosting a sun-soaked party with exotic sounds to match, Nu Guinea will be bringing their genre-spanning sounds from across the globe whilst resident Lexis will join them. DJ Stingray hosts his own boat, championing the Detroit electro sound with Afrodeutsche and Solid Blake in tow.

The Nothing Special will host their own boat party, led by label boss Craig Richards, inviting dBridge and Radioactive Man – a very special musical affair, taking place on the Adriatic this summer. An enduring presence at the festival since its inception 8 years ago, the Hessle Audio crew return on Sunday night with Ben UFO, Pangaea & Pearson Sound playing their staple sound for the final cruise. Elsewhere, Rinse invite the relentlessly forward-thinking Batu and Ciel who will be showcasing her break-tinged house and acid collection, with SPFDJ and Alex T joining them for the final boat party.

Dimensions Festival takes places in one of the most stunning locations in the globe, set in a spectacular abandoned fortress nestled on the Adriatic coast. Picture day-time beach chilling, sunset sessions and exploring the labyrinths of the fort at night. Unique arenas are plentiful, in the fort find Noah’s Ballroom, The Void, The Garden, Subdub Arena and of course the 80-foot Moat, stacked high with speakers. Dimensions advise festival-goers to reserve a place via the deposit scheme or purchase a ticket as soon as possible.
