So recently Rudimental released their album titled, ‘Ground Control’.
Rudimental has a catalogue that speaks for itself. Their musical arsenal ranges from music you want to hear at a festival, to hidden gems I’ve had to shazam because it was so unknown.
I have to say that ‘Rumour Mill’ became one of my guilty pleasures to play. It just did something to me.
Rudimental have worked with artists such as MNEK, Sinead Harnett, Emeli Sande and Mahalia. The list of artists they have worked with is quite lengthy, Rudimental know how to produced good music with people.
I’ve been playing this album for a while now and as I sit with it, I notice that I am gravitating towards quite a few tracks and adding them to playlists.
With that being said, I want to show the album, ‘Ground Control’ some love. And also show some love to the tracks I’ve been playing over and over.
One of the tracks I want to show some love to is ‘Make You Move’.
This track has a UK Garage feel to it so of course, being the UK Garage lover that I am; ‘Make You Move’ caught my attention straight away.
This track features Norskov and someone I believe is having a really good year, Keeya Keys.
This is one of those tracks that will entice you to bring out the old school two step.
Another track I found myself bouncing along to was ‘Krazy’.
This song has that upbeat House feel to it. I’ve found myself nodding my head along to this one quite a few times over the weeks.
Featuring Afronaut Zu, the smooth vocals are very catchy. There’s a high chance you may catch yourself singing along to this track.
There are many tracks that stand out to me, Rudimental have created a really good album for us to enjoy.
