Deciphering what tracks banged in March, so you don’t have to.

As stated in my February article, it does feel as if this year, artists will be offering up a lot of music to their fans.

This means that there are bound to be hidden gems that go under your radar.

And of course, that isn’t your fault. Everyone has their life to life and especially with the way prices are soaring, you can be forgiving for missing a banging track.

But the good thing is that we’re here to filter through the influx of music and see what tracks bang.

With a quarter of the year now passing, we look at all the tracks that came up on our radar for March and see what banged.

Jordy No Ceilings

Jordy returned in March with a collection of Raps, that will keep his fanbase occupied while he works on his project. The EP is titled, ‘Prophets In Their Own Town’, and features a track we think bangs. This track is called, ‘No Ceilings’ and showcases the talent Jordy has at his disposal. Although smooth sounding, ‘No Ceilings’ has some serious lines on there.

Frisco X InfamousizakUFO

After their link up last year for hit, ‘Bad & Clean’, It was only a matter of time before Frisco and Infamousizak teamed up again for another banger. This time the duo dropped a sweet-sounding gem titled, ‘UFO’. This release displays each artists’ talents over a chilled out beat and is further evidence that we need a joint project from them.

Rimon X Rini I Choose U

New to my radar as well as yours is, Rimon. In March the singer released a beautiful sounding track in, ‘I Choose U’. Blending R&B with Neo-Soul, Rimon speaks on having eyes for that one special person. This is the type of song that will make you remember that special someone. A sweet release that sound be heard by everyone.

So Large X Sir Spyro X Bossman BirdieBout It x2

Teaming up to drop a very infectious Grime banger are Grime icons, So Large and Bossman Birdie. The two artists come together on legend, Sir Spyro’s beat to create, ‘Bout It X2’. With each artist possessing their own unique flow and having direct bars on the track, ‘Bout It X2’ just hit different. This is a track I need to hear outside come summertime.

Salute X Sammy VirjiPeach

Coming together and creating a dance floor filler are Salute and Sammy Virji. The duo dropped one for the leg movers with their release, ‘Peach’. This track has electronic vibes and has that feeling that it was designed for the people who live on the dance floor. There are also some elements of Deep House flowing through this one. Even during those points, you’ll find it very hard not to drop a dance move.

Kara Marni X Big ZuuFreetown

Teaming up to release a summer ready banger are Kara Marni and Big Zuu. The two acts come together to drop a gem in, ‘Freetown’. This track gives off R&B and Afrobeat vibes and feels ready for the upcoming festival season. Each act compliments the other on the track really well. With Big Zuu dropping vocals, I hope this is the beginning of more releases from the two. Joint project maybe?
