If it’s electro vibes you’re after ‘Isles‘ by Bicep ticks all the boxes. The Northern Irish duo drops their long-anticipated second album and it serves up plenty to get excited about in our ‘New Normal‘ existence. The album captures perfectly why their pulsating production needs to be enjoyed at maximum volume in that ‘Big Room‘ dancefloor.
Serving to bring back raving memories pre-covid, that seem an all too distance at present. Bicep has delivered an album packed with the type of jams that inspires the shyest guy to showcase their experimental dance moves in the middle of that Big Room dance floor.
As always with the Bicep duo, Electro House has the main body of the project with key elements of Trance and Tech House being on display.
Whatever your flavour is, there is something on this project for you to get into. It’s a shame this album isn’t getting the festival driven roll out it deserves and in some ways because of this it doesn’t seem as relevant.
We’re fans of this project, and believe there are some real mainstays on the album but, can’t help but feel given the current global landscape the release has been watered down to reflect this.
