Formerly known as Auguste, she made her introductions with a performance alongside Bill Laurance and the acclaimed band Snarky Puppy. Ami X garnered widespread attention from respected tastemakers like Tom Robinson and Natalie-Eve Williams with her debut single ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ resulting in BBC6 plays and a live BBC Introducing session, also earning her an invitation to support the Polydor Records-signed artist, Declan J Donovan.

2022 saw Ami X teaming up with producers across the Atlantic exploring new musical territories she would take on the following year as ‘Ami X’. Merging the sensuality of her smooth R&B vocals with pop-influenced production elements, ‘No Stress’ is an irresistible combination that ponders on the highs and lows of love, exposing toxic traits & heartbreak while keeping you hooked to the bouncy beat over Ami’s re-sampled vocal textures.

First of a series of singles for Ami X’s packed 2023 release calendar, ‘No Stress’ is a bold debut that solidifies her place as one of the most exciting emerging talents in the scene right now.
