London’s neon whirlwind Absolute, kicks off 2023 with a highly emotive rave-ready, vocal & breaks-laced weapon.

Kicking off what’s promising to be another massive year for the London-based DJ/Producer and queer clubbing champion, on 27th January 2023, ABSOLUTE. shares his rave-ready, breaks-laced vocal banger ‘Voices’. Bursting with the effervescent club energy with which he has become synonymous, the single effortlessly blends elements of house, techno, hardcore and cheeky 2-step energy with no-holds-barred. ‘Voices’ comes following a huge year in 2022 for ABSOLUTE.. After a year spent bringing sheer joy to clubs and festivals across the UK, EU and USA with his raucous sets and live performances, he stormed the airwaves with his addictive alt-pop bop ‘Stuck In Love’ garnering widespread acclaim and a coveted ‘Hottest Record In the World’ spot on BBC R1 via Clara Amfo.

Continuing to find tastemaker fans, he rounded out 2022 with a glorious Gay Times Amplify Cover and an impressive Crack Magazine mix – two milestones for the rising artist that came following a great year of career firsts and highlights. From reigniting the flame on his imprint ‘Family Planning’ with single ‘Dämmerung’, remixing queer icon George Michael’s ‘Star People’, and soundtracking Fashion Week shows, to making his outstandingEssential Mix debut – recorded at the Iconic Shangri-La Gas Tower during Glastonbury’s mammoth 50th Anniversary – all while performing sell-out shows across the globe, ABSOLUTE.’s “big neon energy” is unwavering. Ever-evolving sonically and stylistically, ‘Voices’ is another example of how versatile the not to be pigeon-holed artist is.

Speaking on ‘Voices’, ABSOLUTE.’ says, 

“If you’ve been to one of my sets this year, you will have likely heard me road testing ‘Voices’. It has been one of the defining emotional moments in my sets all summer and I still get goosebumps when I play it. 

I’ve been sent more requests to drop this than literally any other release, so I’m incredibly excited that I finally get to share this with you as my first track of 2023.”

Throughout 2022, ABSOLUTE. stormed festival stages, club floors and queer parties worldwide, including Pikes, DC10, Glastonbury, CRSSD, Parklife, Milkshake Festival, fabric and many more – all part of a packed touring schedule that shows no sign of letting up in 2023. Also cementing his space in the fashion world, ABSOLUTE. was snapped up for musical direction by designers Jack Irving, Fred Perry and Raf Simons during their LFW22 runway presentations, and is an ambassador for McQ. Also a passionate activist, ABSOLUTE. continues his work as a champion for LGBTQI+ rights and as an environmental campaigner alongside his life in music. 

A true fixture of the UK clubbing scene, ABSOLUTE. has cemented his space with his addictive, hi-octane energy in DJ Sets, his euphoric productions and dazzling live sets. Cutting his teeth in London’s queer club scene as a promoter, the multifaceted artist is a champion for the LGBTQI+ rave community, committed to creating safe spaces. Learning to DJ aged 14 beatmatching on vinyl along to Pete Tong’s radio shows, the trailblazer, Gay Times and former Mixmag cover star is now storming the club scene worldwide.

Having had his debut breakthrough mixtape Wonderland (2021, Skint Records/BMG) shortlisted by BBC Radio 1 for 2021’s ‘Dance Album of the Year’ alongside Bicep and Black Coffee, the Gay Times and Mixmag over star also scooped up The Blessed Madonna’s ‘Guest Mix of the Year’ at BBC 6 Music show, took his live show on tour supporting rave legends 808 State and sold out his debut London live show. Alongside a string of acclaimed releases ABSOLUTE. also made his debut at iconic venues, including Printworks and Manchester’s Warehouse Project, and was invited to DJ alongside Honey Dijon at the Gay Times Honours Awards. 

With firm fans across the globe and garnering continued support from tastemakers including DJ Mag, Mixmag, GQ, Attitude, FLAUNT, 10 Mag, Wonderland Magazine, Crack, Gay Times and BBC Radio 1 tastemakers Danny Howard, Pete Tong, Jaguar, Sarah Story and many more, ABSOLUTE. is shimmering his way to the upper echelons of dance music.
