5 acts not to be missed at Body Movements

After a successful 2021 event, Body Movements Festival is set to return this July.

With last year’s event being a ground breaking marker, event planners had no other option than to proceed with another Festival for this year. Dubbed by Timeout Magazine as “2021’s Best New Festival”, Body Movement is a festival which has the main objective of celebrating queer culture and electronic music.

This season’s edition is set to be packed with fun activities and infectious music. A great atmosphere and memorable experiences are set to be made as DJs from around the globe unite as one for this historic event.

With the full line up being announced and showing some heavy hitters within the electronic music scene, we decided to do the heavy lifting for you guys and identify which acts are not to be missed at this year’s Body Movement Festival.

Jay Jay Revlon

Dubbed “One To Watch” by Timeout, Jay Jay Revlon has been performing across the world for a number of years now. Whether it is a UK Festival to an international event, Jay Jay has a skill of filling up the dance floor with his sweet mixes.

From House and Afro House to Ballroom beats, Jay Jay Revlon’s sets have seen him become a major force to pay attention to within the DJ world.

Lezzer Quest

Known for their ‘anything’ goes music style, and bringing high energy to their music sets is duo, Lezzer Quest. The group consists of Bonzai Bonner and Anna Gram, two acts who share a passion for showcasing good music.

Their vibrant mixes and solid sets earned them a spot on The Lists’s Hot 100 and the duo have had to pleasure of playing alongside acts such as The Blessed Madonna and Eris Dew.

Their electronic mixes are something you should really be checking out. The duo brings current and vintage tracks together, with the end result being some solid mixes!

Sippin’ T

From the classic gems we know and love to the current crop of banging house tracks, Sippin’ T has been delivering solid mixes for a while now

From their BBC Radio 6 guest mix to their epic Boiler Room set, Sippin’ T has an amazing catalogue of sets. They know how to get the crowd going and that is exactly what we believe they will be doing at Body Movements Festival

Their highlights to date include supporting Honey Dijon and Janelle Monae, as well as having sets at Glastonbury and Lovebox Festival. Sippin’ T is a name you really should be paying attention to.

Dee Diggs

Coming in from America to fly the flag for dance music at Body Movements is New York based DJ, Dee Diggs.

Having an understanding and love for House music is something not all DJs possess. Dee Diggs is known for spinning tracks that create memories for the crowd. It’s very unlikely you’ll be standing still on the dance floor when Dee is on the decks.

Dee Diggs has a Boiler Room set in her discography that is amazing. Packed with some serious House jams, Dee absolutely smashed this set.

We suggest giving this set a play to amp yourself up for what Dee will be bringing to Body Movements.

I.Jordan

Dubbed as one of Electronic music’s most exciting producers & DJ’s, I.Jordan will be jumping on the decks at Body Movements this year.

With a reputation for bringing people together on the dance floor, I.Jordan is a name many people are excited to see at Body Movements.

Her sets are known to include club bangers as well as undercover gems that will have you itching to show of your best dance moves.  

Not just a DJ with a good rep, I.Jordan is a producer and has some really good tracks in her catalogue. One track that was in our rotation for a while was her song, ‘For You’. This is an upbeat House jam with the ability to fill any dance floor.
