With January finally nearly behind us, we decided to take a quick look at some cheeky winter festivals to get excited about. If raving in the snow is your thing or getting your dab on in some Texan sun more floats your boat, we’ve got you covered.

A State of Trance Festival Utrecht – Netherlands
23rd February

If Trance is your thing any lineup that has the mighty Amin Van Buuren on the main stage is something to sit-up and pay attention to. The main stage acts include Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Estiva, Future Code (Ben Gold x Omnia), MarLo [Tech-Energy Set], Vini Vici

With hypnotically melodic beats to spare, along with top of the line stage production and pyrotechnics, A State of Trance Festival is a totally immersive experience.

This year’s theme is ‘Lifting You Higher.’, based at Jaarbeurs, a year-round event space in the heart of Utrecht. Used to hosting high-energy dance parties, the venue is an ideal home for A State of Trance’s Utrecht takeover.

Ultra Festival South Africa – Johannesburg
2nd March

Arguably the biggest Electronic Music label in the World. When Ultra throws a party no matter where it is, you know it’s going to be a seriously noisy event. Headline acts include:- The Chainsmokers, Above & Beyond, Martin Garrix & Black Coffee and that’s just to name a few.

Now in its 6th year in South Africa’s biggest city, Johannesburg, expect this event to absolutely bang!!

SXSW: South by Southwest – Austin, Texas
8th -17th March

For those who like there, festivals varied SXSW is the one for you. SXSW is split across five areas: music, film, comedy, gaming, and interactive, while its conferences cover a wide range of topics such as brands and marketing, fashion, sports, technology, and much more. With House & Hip Hop the main music flavours it’s a festival we’re definitely excited about!

Tomorrowland Winter Alpe d’Huez, France 9th -16th March

If Tomorrowland Festival wasn’t already one of the biggest events of the summer, we now have the winter episode of this epic electronic dance festival and with the lineup, we’ve seen, who said festivals are just for summer??? This newest member of the Tomorrowland Family promises to be off the chain and if this cheeky promo vid below is anything to go by it could be the biggest of them all!

The lineup includes:- Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Lost Frequencies, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki & Many More….
