UK producer Bassboy is a creative maverick, constantly evolving his craft and using media in a visionary way. Anyone who follows him on socials can testify to his hilarious videos showcasing his colourful personality and innovative production style.
Given the dire way 2020 unfolded, it’s refreshing and hopefully a good omen that we’re already seeing some serious noise being dropped over the initial few weeks of 2021. As always we’ve got you covered. Check out our Banger Feed for curated noise from our team.
Bassboy latest release featuring Rhianna Keane entitled ‘Been Around Me‘ seriously bangs and here’s 3 Reasons way?
Reason 1, the blend of crisp vocals and dynamic chords. From the get-go with this release you know it’s club intentions and the infusion between artist and producer combine to great effect.
Reason 2, Rhianna Keane, there’s something uniquely UK about her tone and range that’s reminiscent of an Ella Eyre or a Karen Harding which is a compliment in itself. At points, the track creates space to allow Rhianna to showcase her undoubted talent she’s definitely, one to watch!
Reason 3, bassline, no Bassboy track would be the same without his trademark bassline construction it’s basically what it says on the tin! However this time it’s to compliment Rhianna’s vocal talents instead of exploding through the production in his typical style.
Although the dirty bassline shankers among us might not have the same energy for this release. It still ticks enough boxes to enrol itself in our Bangers List for 2021.
