3 female DJs we’re eager to see at Waterworks Festival

With Waterworks Festival returning for another round this year, we thought it best to give you the lowdown on three females DJ’s we cannot wait to see.

The line-up for this season’s edition is just as strong as last years and we have no doubt that Waterworks will once again capture great vibes and everlasting memories for those in attendance.

But what stage should you be rushing to on the day? Who is set to have that epic moment on stage, creating an abundance of memories for the masses?

We look at three females DJ’s set to have a defining moment at this year’s Waterworks Festival

Kiara Scuro

Kiara Scuro is the result of two friends being joined together by their similar musical interest. Consisting of Rosie Ama and Nadia, Kiara Scuro are known for displaying a vast array of music when on the decks. The music they showcase can differ from 90’s House vibes to sounds from the Electronic and Trance genre.  

Their home is Balamii Radio Station, where music discovery and exposing said good music is their main objective. When performing live, Kiara Scuro take pride in delivering highly energetic set, quenching the musical thirst the crowd has.

Amaliah

Known for championing Dance music in all its forms, Amaliah is a familiar name in the London underground scene you should have on your radar.

To acquire a taste for Amaliah and the music she delivers, check out her Rinse FM residency sets. These sets contain a vast mixture of music such as Dance, Funk and Soul music. Amaliah has an eclectic taste in music, she is drawn to the underground sounds and this is why so many people admire her.

Out of the love for music came her music label, Borne Fruits, where she originally threw parties. Nowadays Borne Fruits does productions and has released Amaliah’s debut EP, consisting of some dance floor fillers.

Being dubbed, ‘One to watch for 2021’ by many outlets, Amaliah has not disappointed yet. She has continued to deliver a welcoming vibe to her sets and we fully expect her to deliver this vibe to Waterworks.

Kmya

Depositing countless years of work in the underground Dance scene, Kmya has delivered some really strong Dance mixes to date.

Her live sets have been known from filling up dance floors instantly, Kmya has been dubbed one of the most versatile DJ’s around London. Whether it be Dance, House or Trance, Kmya knows the musical ingredients required to have Festival goers burning calories on the dance floor.

Kmya is one of the founders of, B.L.O.O.M., a collective known delivering sick events and contributing to some of the sickest mixes out there.
